While visiting Bali, I came across an artwork where the photographer had arranged produce in large and small wickerwork baskets and photographed the beutifully. At a local market, I came across the same sort of baskets and purchased a few to bring back to NZ to fill them with NZ shellfish. I had some good contacts and assembled quite a few different shellfish. 

How this image was created: This image was light painted with a torch in a darkened studio, giving moody pockets of light with beautiful detail on the shells and  baskets.
